How the burger craze picked up here is anybody's guess, but since the burger joints are there, I better highlight them for you just in case you want to travel that far north in Australia. See the list below.

Best Burger in joints Darwin

For the purposes of this blog, we will be discussing Darwin the city in Australia's northern Territory and not Charles Darwin - he, of the Evolution Theory fame.

The city is one of the two cities located in the Northern Territory of Australia and also the region’s capital. It is strategically nestled on the Timor Sea, making it a very important sea port for the trade between Australia and such countries as China and Japan. The city has grown from a small trading outpost to one of the most modern Australian cities. A total of 129,062 people call this port city home.

How the burger craze picked up here is anybody's guess, but since the burger joints are there, I better highlight them for you just in case you want to travel that far north in Australia. See the list below.

1. Darwin Ski Club Bistro - This bistro serves great burgers, but what really captivate you the moment you get to the eatery is the waterfront scenery, the happy hour crowd, and the kids’ friendly environment. If you are travelling with your family, there is no better place to take a family photo in Australia.

2. Precinct Tavern - This is another waterfront joint that serves pizza, Angus beef burgers and a host of seafood dishes. The restaurant takes reservations for those who would love to have the corner table.

3. The Chook Shed - This is a nice breakfast eatery that serves brunch burgers and seafood. If you are a health buff, then this restaurant burgers are unlikely to add inches to your waistline.

4. Lizard's Outdoor Bar and Grill - With an outdoor seating, this restaurant is a nice place to soak in the Australian summer sun over a meal of burgers and milkshake. It is located in Darwin's CBD at the corner of Mitchell and Daly Streets.

5. The Blue Marlin Bistro and Bar - The scenic outdoor waterfront seating gives this restaurant an advantage over other restaurants. Couple this with tasty burgers and some other gluten free delicacies and you have a winner.

Of all the Australian cities, Darwin is the least explored, and yet, it is the most beautiful. If I were a tourist, before going on south to the Great Barrier Reef, I would spend a week at the city of Darwin. It is an experience that will earn you the bragging rights among your friends.
