Aside from the historic landmarks, diverse culture and archeological sites found all over Europe, yet another thing that definitely keeps a lot of travelers coming back is the food.

Take Home the Gastronomic Experiences You Encounter in Europe

European cuisine offers an excellent collection of recipes founded not only in Europe but also in other Western nations. Steak is one of the most staple foods in the continent, the serving of which is usually larger and more prominent when compared to Asian cuisines. Other types of food found in Europe are wheat breads, potato, pasta, pastries and dumplings, and most travelers find the gastronomic adventures in this continent as a whole new experience that they usually don’t find in abundance in their own countries.

New York Times Travel writer Ann Mah lists the different brief cooking courses in countries like Barcelona, Italy and France so that travelers could take home the unique gastronomic experiences they encountered during their stay in Europe (“In Europe, Cooking Classes for Every Palate”).  The author notes that the cooking programs are “all given in English”, and these concentrate on the “regional cuisines and seasonal ingredients”.
An excerpt of her article is stated below:
Like so much pasta dough, a five-hour cooking class can be designed to your specification. An Italian chef and caterer leads a tour of family-run food shops or an open market (or not, as you prefer) like Campo de’ Fiori, or the less touristy Testaccio or Prati.
